En dan nu iets over mezelf. Naast mijn rol van moeder van drie (grote) kinderen en echtgenote heb ik altijd zelfstandig gewerkt en veel gereisd. Achttien jaar geleden toen de kinderen groot waren besloot ik te solliciteren als buitengewoon ambtenaar van de burgerlijke stand in Heemstede waar ik werd aangenomen en beëdigd. Inmiddels heb ik in de afgelopen zeventien jaar hundreds of marriages performed in a variety of languages, colors and tonalities. This resulted in a lot of feedback from couples who experienced it as unforgettable (check our review). 
In the years that followed, I have performed hundreds of marriages in several languages, in diverse countries and with all kinds of beautiful cultural traditions. This has allowed me to collect a lot of feedback from couples who have experienced their wedding ceremony as unforgettable (see references). As a celebrant, people invite you into their lives. It’s a great privilege to share the excitement and happiness of the soon-to-be-wed couple, in this period leading up to the big day.
